A robotic arm and clever in-camera techniques allowed us to seamlessly link bank and café activities into single, continuous shots. Designed for a multi-platform rollout, each asset was created in multiple versions optimized for targeted ads, in-café screens, and YouTube. Each piece of gear offers unique opportunities for storytelling and it was really fun exploring a the Cinebot robot arm.
We worked closely with the technician during pre-production to understand its capabilities and what would be possible in an enclosed space, like the café. Ultimately, we were thrilled with the camera moves we developed, including a shot where a banking customer and a café customer, traveling in opposite directions, converge into one frame.

Shooting on location always provides great opportunities for storytelling. It’s a fun challenge to analyze the space and find the inherent angles and lighting scenarios that make it sparkle.
The café’s limited space posed a challenge for a large piece of equipment like a robot arm, but we found solutions that maximized its visual potential while still making the cafe feel warm, spacious, and inviting.
