From soaring over the east coast cliffs at sunrise to diving under the deep blue waters of the west coast, our team crossed the island end to end, gathering the stories woven into Aruba’s landscape. This far reaching production required us to be nimble with two distinct filming units.
1st unit packed into a Jeep with our local experts, following them closely in order to capture their story from an authentic perspective. The 2nd unit deployed close behind, capturing drone shots of the islands’ stunning scenery. This approach, along with our crew’s extensive on-location documentary experience, helped us stay agile and true to the Aruban experience.

Capturing the breadth of the island in just three days required months of planning and collaborating with an experienced local Aruban location manager. Finding the stories involved consulting extensively with the series’ featured local experts, to discover their personal connections and passions for their island.
Having laid the early groundwork, by the time we landed in Aruba, we felt right at home. The final result is something we are immensely proud of, not just because of the story that was told, but the team we got to create with.
